• Born in Russia in 1962 in the Ural Mountains region
• Graduated from Orenburg Art Academy in Russia in 1986
• Participated in s showing at the world famous Sate Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow
• Emigrated to Canada in early 2000's
• In 2007, received the Holbein Artist's Material Award of Excellence for his painting featured
  at the 16th Annual National Juried Exhibition of Oil Painters of America (OPA) in Fredericksburg, Texas.
• Also was the finalist in the International Artist Landscape Challenge
